LABORATORY OF VIROLOGY AND INFECTIOUS DISEASE

Ms. Pecoraro received her B.A. in Chemistry from the University of San Diego and her Masters of Music in Viola Performance from San Diego State University. She worked at the Torrey Pines Institute for Molecular Studies in San Diego, first as a chemistry Research Technician and subsequently as Manager of Sponsored Research and Intellectual Property. Since joining the Laboratory of Virology and Infectious Disease in 2005, she has managed all the financial and grants administrative aspects of the laboratory. She also continues her career as a professional violist, performing with the Chamber Orchestra of New York. She has also performed with the Bronx Opera Orchestra, Orchestra of the Bronx, and Adelphi University Symphony among others.
