Linda Andrus, Ph.D.
Visiting Scientist

Dr. Andrus received her Ph.D. in Immunology from Australian National University, in Canberra, Australia. She went on to do postdoctoral work in the laboratory of Dr. Edward Reich first at the Rockefeller University and subsequently in Basel, Switzerland, investigating the functional roles of T cells. She then moved to the Lindsley F. Kimball Research Institute of the New York Blood Center where she studied immune responses to HIV, HCV and HBV infection, as well as worked on HIV vaccine design, and on developing mouse models for HIV infection. Since joining the Center for the Study of Hepatitis C in 2006, she has been focusing on creating small animal models for the study of HCV.
