Timothy Sheahan, Ph.D.
Postdoctoral Associate
Dr. Sheahan received his Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2008. While there, he worked with Dr. Ralph S. Baric studying severe acute respiratory distress syndrome coronavirus (SARS-CoV) pathogenesis and therapeutic treatment design. Since joining the Center for the Study of Hepatitis C, Dr. Sheahan has focused on understanding virus and host factors that contribute to the development of HCV related pathogenesis and disease.
